MRC is committed to promoting a motorsport culture built on preparation, discipline, respect and responsibility. Every event depends on the behaviour of competitors, officials, service crews, volunteers, spectators, media and partners.

Safety is not the responsibility of one person. It is a shared commitment.

Responsibilities

Who Is Responsible?

Every person at an MRC event has a role to play. Below are the responsibilities that apply to each group — competitors, spectators and all event participants.

Competitor Responsibility

Respect all event regulations and official instructions at all times.
Follow the instructions of marshals, stewards and safety officers.
Respect controlled zones, service areas and restricted access points.
Treat co-drivers, other crews, volunteers and officials with respect.
Prepare your vehicle properly and ensure it meets event requirements.
Respect local communities, roads and residents during events.
Good competition is not only about speed — it is about control and respect for the framework that allows the sport to exist.

Spectator Responsibility

Always follow the instructions of marshals and event officials.
Stay within authorised spectator zones at all times.
Never stand in dangerous or restricted positions.
Supervise children at all times during events.
Respect local residents and private property near event sites.
Help keep event sites clean — take your waste with you.
Respect other spectators and create a positive atmosphere for the sport.

Environmental Responsibility

Respect public roads, landscapes and natural surroundings.
Do not litter at event sites, service areas or spectator zones.
Respect public and private property throughout event areas.
Protect natural areas and sensitive landscapes near event routes.
Leave event sites in the same condition as you found them.
Follow any environmental guidelines issued by MRC or local authorities.
